Las Vegas Engagement: Rachel and EPM
Posted on November 18, 2011
Meet Rachel and EPM, the cutest couple around. I had so much fun with them shooting their engagement photos in Las Vegas. You could feel the love oozing out of them. They were so cute and so much fun. We did their photo shoot at the new Tivoli Village, in Las Vegas. They challenged me as a photographer because of their values and religious beliefs, kissing and other stuff, is a no no before marriage, so I couldn’t rely on some of my usual shots and had to get creative. But I think I did a pretty good job and was able to capture their love and friendship. What do you think.

My favorite photo of the session.

Leave me a comment and let me know what you think. Wedding photos coming soon.

America’s Next Top Model
Posted on November 16, 2011
Meet Vinny and Mariah. These little girls are amazing. I had this idea to do a dress up day for them and make it a photo shoot. And I thought I would have to pose them and give them lots of direction but that was not the case with these little ladies. They were total professionals, as soon as they got in front of my camera they turned on the magic. I must say I was totally amazed. So i asked them were they learned all this from and they said Americas Next Top Model. Well, all I can say is WOW. I loved the results, the pictures turned out awesome and the girls had a ball. I hope you enjoy. And as always leave a comment if you like the work. And I have to thank our stylist and master dress up artist Ebony, for providing all the clothes and props. She did a great job. You’ll see her in a few shots, she decided to jump in and join the fun.

New Website Needed New Photos of Me
Posted on October 31, 2011
I did a total redesign of my website so that got me to thinking I needed new pics of me. So I asked my good friend and awesome photographer Rachel of Brilliant Imagery, to do the deed. I have to admit it was kinda hard being in front of the camera and not behind it. Now dont get me wrong I had a great time and did lots of laughing, Mostly at myself trying to do the supermodel pout. So I just tried to be myself and have fun. I think they turned out pretty good. What do you think?

My favorite pair of cowboy boots. I’d wear these everyday if I could. Sometimes I think I should have been born a cowboy, then I could have rode horses all day and worn my cowboy boots everyday.

Not sure if you noticed, but lots of laughter going on here.

Anthony & Sheronda Maternity Photos Las Vegas, NV
Posted on July 8, 2011
I can’t beleive Anthony and Sheronda have been married for 5 years, and now their expecting their first baby. I remember photographing their wedding, they were such a good looking couple they made my job easy. I was so honored when they asked me to shoot their maternity photos. And of course nothing ordinary for these two. They were so much fun and Anthony is totally crazy. Cant wait to photograph the cute little pumpkin when she gets here.

She Said Yes!!!
Posted on July 20, 2010
I got a call from Jason, who wanted someone to photograph him proposing to his girlfriend Marian. I said great. I love proposals. It’s almost as happy a time for a couple as the wedding day, and what better way to capture the moment then with photographs. Jason and Maria are from Arizona, and Maria thought they were in Vegas to go to the Garth Brooks concert. Well surprise Maria!!! Jason wanted to spring the big question while they were at dinner. They were staying at the beautiful Encore hotel in Las Vegas, and Jason had made reservations at the Switch restaurant in the Encore. The staff at the switch were so great they found me a plant to hide behind until Jason was ready. I have to say after this that I love texting. I don’t know if we could have pulled it off so smoothly with out it. Jason and I text back and fourth setting the moment up. And then he got up from his chair, got down on his knees and opened the ring box that held the awesome ring. I jumped out from behind the plant with my camera and captured some great shots. Maria was totally surprised. She said yes and the restaurant gave them a standing ovation. It was beautiful. I cried, of course! I introduced myself and then proceeded to give them both a big hug. I’m a huger, what can I say? They finished their meal and we spent the next hour taking some great photos in the Encore and Wynn hotels. As you can see they were the cutest couple and Maria couldn’t take her eyes off her ring the whole time. I had soooo much fun with them, I hated to leave them. I received one of the nicest complements from them, Jason told me Maria said it was like having a having a girlfriend along. Thanks Maria. I’ll add Maria’s wonderful review below their photos.

Maria and Jason received a standing ovation from the partons at the Switch restaurant, in the Encore.
My fiancee hired Lorraine to photograph our engagement, and I’m so thrilled he did! I think she was just as excited at the engagement as I was and, though we had never met, it was almost like having one of my girlfriends there to share the moment with. She captured the entire proposal and then took us all over Encore in Las Vegas for an engagement photo op! She was full of wonderfully creative poses and ideas, but was never too busy to stop and join me in a celebratory moment. The pictures she took were incredible, and I am so thankful to have those moments captured forever. She was on time (even hiding behind a bush behind me, waiting to jump out the moment my fiancee proposed!) and was wonderfully patient while my husband-to-be and I finished our dinner after he proposed. Each time I look through the pictures I am thrilled all over again at Lorraine’s amazing ability to capture all of the different emotions and the excitement we were feeling. Because of her warm personality and amazing skills with a camera, I would highly recommend Lorraine to anyone looking for a photographer to capture their special moments!

Bridget and Hank Engagement Session
Posted on June 29, 2010
Bridget and Hank were so much fun. And Hank is such a sweetheart, he called me a couple of days before their session saying he wanted to rent a limo for our session. I said great, who doesn’t like riding in a limo. Makes me feel important even though I’m not. Then he call me again the day before our shoot and tells me that there is a close family friend he wants to include in the photos. I said Ok, the more the merrier, Right. But then I realized he’s not talking about a person but about a dog, trooper. I love dogs, so I was all for it. He did great, but I think he was over the whole picture thing when he realized he had to have a bath first. Thanks Troop for being a trooper. If you want to see all the photos from the session check out the video at the bottom. Enjoy.
